1What is the meaning or story behind your name?/名前（もしくはコートネーム）の由来は？
My name Giovanna is an Italian name, as my ancestors are mostly Italian from the island of Sicily. I was named after my Aunt on my father’s side of the family who still live in Italy to this day. My mother admired her elegance, beauty, and the way she took care of her family with ease and grace. Therefore, she named me after her and blessed me with a name I am proud of. Gia came soon after I was born, as a short endearing nickname. My teammates in the past have called me Gigi or G or even Gio. One coach from Italy even called me Ginger! However, since playing in Asia, my teammates usually only call me Gia. "ジョヴァンナ"はイタリア名で、祖先の大半がシチリア島出身のイタリア人です。今もイタリアに住んでいる父方の叔母にちなんで名付けられました。母は彼女の優雅さや美しさ、そして家族を気楽に優雅に世話する様子を尊敬していました。そのため、母は彼女にちなんで私を名付け、誇りに思える名前を授けてくれたのです。生まれた直後から「ジア」の愛称で呼ばれ、過去のチームメイトは私を「ジジ」や「G」、時には「ジオ」とも呼んでいました。イタリア人のコーチの1人は「ジンジャー」と呼んだこともw アジアでプレーするようになってからは、チームメイトは通常「ジア」と呼んでいます。
2Why did you start playing volleyball?/バレーボールを始めたきっかけは？
In America, it’s normal for children to try many different sports as they grow and enter middle school. I mostly played basketball, softball, and volleyball. I wasn’t particularly in love with any of them until I started playing softball more seriously (because I was terrible at basketball and volleyball). I began to despise softball and would cry before practice because I didn’t want to go anymore. I began growing and growing until my mom was told by a friend that I should try volleyball again! I fell in love with the sport and being with my teammates and never looked back. アメリカでは、子どもたちが成長し中学校に入ると、様々なスポーツに挑戦するのが普通です。私は主にバスケットボール、ソフトボール、バレーボールをやっていました。どれも特に好きではなかったのですが、ソフトボールを本格的に始めた頃から（バスケットボールとバレーボールが下手で。。）、ソフトボールが嫌いになり、練習前にはもう行きたくないと泣くようになりました。その後どんどん背が伸びていき、ある時母が友人から「バレーボールを再開してみたら？」と勧められたんです！その瞬間、私はこのスポーツとチームメイトとの時間に夢中になり、それ以来一度も振り返ることなく続けています。
3What do you like about your position?/自分のポジションの魅力は？
What do you like about your position? I love being an outside hitter because I can feel the whole rhythm of the game. When it flows, it’s like a drug, it is such a special, effortless feeling. But to get to this feeling, it takes years and years of blood, sweat, and tears. Each season takes a lot of time to find this flow as a team, since year by year, members change a lot. But finding this flow with people around you that you’ve learned to love and respect is a feeling that I absolutely love. Being an outside hitter, I can see the game from the outside and inside at the same time, being able to admire the heard-earned flow of volleyball at its best. アウトサイドヒッターであることが大好きです。試合全体のリズムを感じ取れるからです。流れに乗ると、まるで麻薬のように、特別な、努力を感じさせない感覚に包まれます。でもこの感覚を得るには、何年も何年も血と汗と涙を注ぐ必要があります。毎年メンバーが大きく変わるため、チームとしてこの流れを見つけるには、シーズンごとに多くの時間を要します。それでも、愛し尊敬する仲間たちとこの流れを掴む瞬間は、何にも代えがたい喜びです。アウトサイドヒッターとして、私は内・外両方の視点から試合を見渡せます。バレーボールが最高潮に達した、血と汗で築いた流れを、心から賞賛できる立場なのです。
4What is your best skill in volleyball?/得意なプレーは？
My best skill in volleyball is adjusting my tactics throughout the match depending on how the other team sets up around my team and I. When I’m at my best, I can really feel the other team and make fast decisions based on that info. 最大の強みは、相手チームが自分たちに対してどのような布陣を組むかに応じて、試合を通じて戦術を柔軟に調整できることです。最高の状態にある時は、相手の動きを的確に読み取り、その情報に基づいて素早く判断を下すことができます。
5How would you describe your playing style?/自分のプレースタイルは？
My playing style is to be a positive light to my teammates, giving them hope that no matter how it looks, there’s always a chance to win in a positive way together, and that everyone plays a huge role in every part of the game. I want to make everyone feel welcomed and valued on and off the court. チームメイトにとって前向きな光となることです。どんな状況でも、ポジティブに共に勝利するチャンスは常にあり、試合のあらゆる局面で全員が重要な役割を担っているという希望をみんなに与えることです。コートの内でも外でも、全員が歓迎され、大切にされていると感じられるようにしたいのです。
6Do you have a routine before a game?/試合前のルーティンは？
My biggest routine is to imagine different parts of the game and different skills in silence that I want to really focus on. I run through each of them, then imagine my team celebrating after we win. I love this because it makes me so excited to start the game, going all out for the win together that I already saw coming! Everything else before the game is just to help myself stay in the moment, and calm and collected. 試合の様々な場面や、特に集中したいスキルを静かにイメージします。ひとつひとつ頭の中で再現し、勝利後のチームの歓喜を想像します。試合開始が待ちきれなくなるほど興奮し、イメージした勝利のために全力で戦う気持ちにさせます！試合前の準備は全てその勝利の瞬間に集中し、冷静で落ち着いていられるようにするためのものです。
7 What do you focus on during a game?/試合中に心がけていることは？
I try to focus on my teammates and the tendencies of the other team. When I do that, I can learn how to best help them and work together with them so we can break down our opponent together. チームメイトと相手チームの傾向に集中するようにしています。そうすることで、チームメイトを最も効果的にサポートし、協力して相手を打ち破る方法を学べるからです。
8What game is the most memorable for you? /1番思い出に残っている試合は？
I would say round 2 of our semifinals in Red Sparks during my time in Korea. We were by far the underdogs to the Pink Spiders with Kim Yeon-Koung and had lost the game before. Something about that day… We just clicked and felt the game so well. We won in flying colours against what felt like the whole world. 韓国RedSparksで戦った準決勝第2戦でしょう。キム・ヨンギョン選手を擁するPink Spidersには前戦も敗れていて、圧倒的に負けるだろうとされていました。あの日だけは…チームが完璧に噛み合い、試合の流れを掴み切れたんです。まるで全世界を相手に、見事な勝利を収めたような感覚でした。
9Which coach has influenced you the most? /影響を受けた指導者は？
My assistant coach in South Korea, Coach Jeong Hwan. When I was in the most difficult place in my career, he stepped up and gave hours of his personal time to help me grow each and every day in order to catch up to the expectation I had as the foreigner in the V-league. He knew I was stressed and did his best to take care of my mentality and my skills to craft me into a better volleyball player each day. He watched my every move and reminded me that every repetition counted. We still talk to this day, and I will forever be grateful to him for helping to transform me during a time I was really struggling, physically and mentally. 韓国でのアシスタントコーチ、Jeong Hwan.監督です。キャリアで最も苦しい時期に、彼は自ら進んで私を支え、Vリーグの外国人選手としての期待に応えられるよう、毎日成長できるよう、何時間も個人的な時間を割いて指導してくれました。彼は私のストレスを理解し、メンタルと技術の両面から細やかにケアしてくれました。毎日少しずつでも良い選手に成長できるよう導いてくれたのです。私の動きを一つ一つ観察し、「繰り返しが全てを左右する」と常に言い聞かせてくれました。今でも連絡を取り合っており、心身ともに苦しんでいた時期に私を変容させてくれたことへの感謝は、生涯忘れません。
10Which player do you admire? /憧れの選手は？
I admire my friend and sister, Megawati Hangestri. She is incredibly talented physically, but mentally she is even more rare. It seems the more pressure she’s put in and the more tired she is, the more she comes alive. She was a huge source of inspiration and support for me during our time playing together, which by the way, was just a few months after her father had passed. 11Which player would you like to play with?/一緒にプレーしたい選手は？
Kim Yeon-Koung and Mega. Kim holds her teammates to a high standard, but she holds herself to an even higher standard. She is never more hard on anyone than herself. Even though she demands a lot from those around her, and that can seem intimidating, she expects perfection from herself. That mindset would be so inspiring to be a part of and to learn from. キム・ヨンギョンさんとメガ（メガワティ選手）です。ヨンギョンさんはチームメイトに高い基準を求めますが、自分自身にはさらに高い基準を設けます。誰よりも自分に厳しくするのです。周囲に多くのことを要求し、それが威圧的に見えることもあるけれど、彼女は自分自身に完璧を求めます。その姿勢に触れ、学ぶことは非常に刺激的でしょう。
12Which volleyball players are you close with?/仲のいいバレーボール選手は？
Although I think Mega tops the list, as we went through a lifetime of struggles together in only 8 months, there are dozens of friends I really enjoyed playing with. One in particular is Marta Bechis. We spent so many hours talking together about our past, present, and future as women and volleyball players during our time in Atlanta together. She is intelligent, funny, adventurous, and the opposite of lazy. I love so much about her. Honestly, I can find something I love about everyone I have played with during my entire career, going all the way back to my first year. Everyone brings so much beauty in their own way, no matter if we were close or not. I appreciate them all. メガ（メガワティ選手）がトップだと思います。たった8ヶ月で一生分の苦労を共に乗り越えたからね。でも本当に楽しくプレーできた友達は他にも何十人もいます。特にマルタ・ベキスは別格ですね。アトランタで過ごした日々、私たちは女性として、バレーボール選手として、過去・現在・未来について何時間も語り合いました。彼女は聡明でユーモアがあり、冒険心にあふれ、怠け者とは正反対の人間なんです。彼女のことは本当に大好きです。正直なところ、キャリアを通じて一緒にプレーした全員に、何かしらの愛すべき点を見出せます。新人時代まで遡ってもですね。親しかったかどうかに関わらず、誰もがそれぞれの方法で美しさをもたらしてくれるんです。私は皆に感謝しています。
13What is amazing about your teammates?/チームメイトのここがすごい！と思うところは？
Since day 1 here with the Red Rockets, I’ve been consistently blown away by the positive atttitude and hard working nature of everyone around me. The girls want to see growth in themselves each day. They are so organized with their loves outside of volleyball and handle chores in the gym and always help wherever they’re needed. They are so funny and enjoy every moment together. I just love their attitude and see it as nothing short of amazing each and every day. レッドロケッツに来て初日から、周りの皆のポジティブな姿勢と努力家な性格にずっと驚かされ続けています。彼女たちは毎日自分自身の成長を求め、バレーボール以外の生活もきちんと管理し、ジムの雑用もこなし、必要な場所ではいつでも進んで手伝います。とてもユーモアがあり、一緒に過ごすひとときを心から楽しんでいます。彼女たちの姿勢が本当に大好きで、毎日が驚くべきこと以外の何物でもないと思っています。
14What kind of player do you want to be for your fans?/応援してくれている皆さんにとって、どんな存在でありたいですか？
One that tells a story of hard work, determination, and the will to finish and win the fight together with a great team. I want our story this year to be unforgettable, to be locked in the memories of those watching, remembering that we gave everything we had and enjoyed every moment!. 努力と決意、そして素晴らしいチームと共に戦い抜いて勝利を掴む意志を描いたストーリーをつくりたいです。私たちが見せる全ての姿が観戦される方々の記憶に刻まれ、その時その時を心から楽しんでもらいたいです。
15What do you like about Todoroki Arena?/とどろきアリーナのここが好き！
I’ve never been there before, but from the pictures I can see online it looks absolutely incredible! (まだ)行ったことがないですが、ネットで見た写真からすると、本当にすごい場所みたいですね！
16What is your goal for this season?/今季の意気込み
To be such a great teammate that all of the girls around me gain confidence and more love for volleyball, leading us to all play great volleyball together and grow each day, resulting in a championship of course! 周りの全ての選手が自信を持ち、バレーボールへの愛を深められるような素晴らしいチームメイトになることです。そうすることで、私たちは共にすばらしいバレーボールが出来、日々成長し、その結果、優勝を勝ち取るんです！

For me, it is a path to creating lifelong relationships. The memories I’ve made playing this sport have been so special to me. I am excited to keep piling on the priceless memories this season. I’ve only been in Kawasaki for a month and already have countless that I’ve added to my heart. Thank you, NEC, for giving me this opportunity. 1Do you have any special skills or licenses? /特技・資格
I like to think of myself as a good writer. I enjoy the process of completely organising my thoughts and laying them out for people to observe. Other than that, I see myself as sort of an animal whisperer. I adore animals and feel a strong connection with them when I’m around them. As my family and they will tell you what I mean! 言葉にすること（文字にすること）が得意です。考えを完全に整理し、人々が観察できるように整える過程を楽しんでいます。ほかには、動物と心を通わせる人だと自認しています。動物が大好きで、一緒にいると強い絆を感じます。家族や動物たちが私の言うことを証明してくれるでしょう！
2What was your dream as a child?/子どもの頃の夢は？
I wanted to be an animal trainer. Once I got older and wanted to do something more prestigious, I wanted to be a veterinarian. As you can see, I will always have a huge heart for animals! 動物調教師になりたかったんです。大きくなってもっと立派な職業に就きたいと思うようになると、獣医になりたくなりました。ご覧の通り、私はいつだって動物への愛情が深いんです！
3Who do you respect the most?/尊敬する人は？
My husband Daniel. Before I was married, the answer would be my parents. As I’ve become a wife, I’ve learned how blessed I am to have a man that has my best interest in mind each and every day. He walks with the love of God, so I know that he is someone I can follow with admiration and love. He is so hardworking, loving, and spends him time intelligently. I love all things edible. You will never find me throwing away food because I don’t like it! I’m the least picky person you may ever meet! 食べられるものなら何でも大好きです。嫌いだからといって食べ物を捨てるなんて絶対にしません！たぶんみなさんの中で一番偏食しない人間です！
6Who is your favorite celebrity, singer, or comedian? Why?/好きな芸能人・アーティスト・芸人、理由？
I absolutely love watching Jerry Seinfeld, the comedian. He has a sitcom show that my husband and I have watched twice through together and just laugh and laugh as we watch. I like his humor because it’s all about the small details of life. I speak on very little experience, since I’m not a huge gamer or experienced anime watcher. I have seen only the first movie of Haikyuu!! and I absolutely love it. All of the emotions, excitement, and drama they created around volleyball is just so accurate and makes my heart smile. It also reminds me to appreciate where I am and what I’m doing, because it is really cool and deserves to be appreciated. ゲーマーでもアニメ通でもないので詳しくないですが、『ハイキュー!!』の劇場版第1作が本当に大好きです。バレーボールを題材に描かれた感情や興奮、ドラマのすべてが驚くほど正確で、心がほっこりします。そして今いる場所ややっていることを大切に思う気持ちも呼び起こしてくれます。本当に素晴らしいことですし、感謝されるべきことだからです。
8Who is your favorite character?/好きなキャラクターは？
I love Shoyo Hinata. He has such an undeniable love and excitement for what he does each day and who he does it with. He is an underdog, but works hard alongside his teammates to be successful. I see a lot of myself in him. 日向翔陽（「ハイキュー」）が大好きです。彼は毎日取り組むこと、そして共に戦う仲間たちに対して、否定できないほどの愛情と熱意を持っています。彼は弱者ですが、チームメイトと共に成功を目指して懸命に努力します。彼の中に、自分の姿を重ねてしまうんです。
9What kind of music do you like? /好きな音楽
I love a lot of different types of music depending on my mood. Recently, I’ve been listening to a lot of classic rock and chill electronic music. The latter is hard to explain, some Hippie Sabotage, Petit Biscuit, Flume, etc. I also really like Justin Beiber and Christian rap. 気分によって様々なジャンルの音楽を聴きます。最近はクラシックロックとチルアウト系の電子音楽をよく聴いています。後者は説明が難しいのですが、Hippie SabotageやPetit Biscuit、Flumeなどが該当します。またジャスティン・ビーバーやクリスチャン・ラップもとても好きです。
10What is your favorite movie?/好きな映画
"Little Women 2019". I have 3 sisters, so naturally, I just immediately fell in love with the story and the cinematics are incredible! Also anything with Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, or Sandra Bullock. Those are my favorite actors. My favorite series are Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings. 『Little Women(2019)：ストーリー・オブ・マイライフ/わたしの若草物語）』です。私には3人の姉妹がいるので、当然ながらこの物語にすぐに夢中になりました。映像美も素晴らしいです！それにキーラ・ナイトレイ、ヒュー・グラント、サンドラ・ブロックが出演する作品も何でも好きです。お気に入りの俳優さん達です。好きなシリーズは『パイレーツ・オブ・カリビアン』と『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』です。
11What made you happy recently? /最近嬉しかったこと
I’m going through the book of Hebrews in the Bible with my husband. We go through each chapter and talk about what we see and noticed through our own reading. It just lights up my day and prepares me for any challenge! 夫と一緒に聖書の"ヘブル人への手紙"を読んでいます。各章を読み進めながら、読んだ中で気づいたことや感じたことを話し合います。それが私の1日を明るく照らし、どんな困難にも備えさせてくれるのです！
12What place do you want to visit?/行ってみたい場所
I would love to visit New Zealand with my sister, Maria. I would love to see where they created the Lord of the Rings series and explore that area with her. We love watching movies together, and I saw all of the Lord of the Rings with her, so it would be really special. She knows the story and character by heart! 姉のマリアと一緒にニュージーランドを訪れたいと思っています。『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』シリーズが生まれた場所を見て、その地域を探検したいです。私たちは一緒に映画を観るのが大好きで、彼女と一緒に『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』全編を観たので、本当に特別な体験になるでしょう。彼女は物語と登場人物を完璧に覚えているんです！
13What challenge would you like to try in the future?/いつか挑戦したいことは？
I would love to try the day of silence challenge one day, where you literally sit somewhere in silence with a covering over your face so you can’t see anything and are just left with yourself for 24 hours. I think this would be an extremely enlightening experience that I look forward to trying one day. いつか"沈黙の日"チャレンジに挑戦してみたいです。文字通り、どこかに座り、顔を覆って何も見えない状態で、24時間ただ自分自身と向き合うんです。これは非常に啓発的な体験になるでしょう。いつかぜひ試してみたいと思っています。
14How do you spend your day off?/オフの日の過ごし方は？
I wake up to the sound of relaxing music and the smell of freshly made coffee, and a warm excited smile from Daniel to see that I’m finally awake! We make breakfast together, read together, then usually do some morning stretching. I then love to go grocery shopping to see the local fruits and veggies I can make that day! I love cooking healthy yummy food on my free day. Then we usually love to explore coffee shops and we will either just chat or take a book to enjoy there. Then we will make lunch and dinner together, take care of our plants, call family, and then wind down with Seinfeld or another show we enjoy together. Usually, my favorite days are when he’s here. If he’s away traveling, I would do the exact same things by myself, but they wouldn’t be as sweet. I love staying around home and just taking care of my recovery, mentally and physically. 心地よい音楽の音と淹れたてのコーヒーの香りで目が覚めると、ダニエルがようやく起きた私を見て温かく嬉しそうな笑顔を見せてくれるんです！一緒に朝食を作り、本を読み、その後はたいてい朝のストレッチをします。それから地元の果物や野菜を探しに食料品の買い物に行きます。休みの日はヘルシーで美味しい料理を作るのが大好きなんです。そしてカフェ巡りをして、ただおしゃべりしたり、本を持って行って楽しんだりします。その後、一緒に昼食と夕食を作り、植物の世話をし、家族に電話をかけ、最後に『Seinfeld』や二人で楽しむ番組を見ながらくつろぎます。彼と一緒にいる日が一番好きですね。もし彼が旅行で不在でも私は全く同じことを一人でやりますが、それらは同じように甘くは感じられません。家にいて、心身ともに回復に専念するのが大好きです。
15If you could be someone else for a day, who would it be? /1日だけ誰かになれるとしたら？
Honestly, I fantasize about being a super successful leader and business woman/world influencer in inspiring and uplifting people. Someone who has written award winning books, starred in movies, and is on a private jet to attend her next meeting. I don’t have anyone particular in mind, but often aspire to make a big different in this world. 16If you were not a volleyball player, who would you be?/バレー選手じゃなかったら？
I would simply be a woman one with nature, I believe. I would live in the countryside somewhere with a couple horses, a dog, and cat, and a beautiful garden full of wonderful plants that I can use to feed my family. I would read a lot, write a lot, make things with my own hands, take care of my beautiful small home, and make lasting memories and moments with my growing family. I can see that for myself once my volleyball career ends. ただ自然と共に生きる女性ですね。田舎のどこかで数頭の馬と犬と猫と共に暮らし、家族を養うための素晴らしい植物でいっぱいの美しい庭を持ちたいです。たくさん本を読み、たくさん書いて、自分の手で物を作り、愛おしい小さな家を大切にし、成長する家族と共に忘れられない思い出と瞬間を紡いでいきたいです。バレーボール選手としてのキャリアが終わった後はそんな自分を想像しています。

“I feel so grateful to have so many people I love and who can count on me if they need anything: a hug, a chat, or just a silent walk to know I’m always there for them.” 「愛する人々がこんなにたくさんいて、何か必要な時に頼れる存在であることに心から感謝しています。抱擁でも、おしゃべりでも、ただ黙って歩くだけでも、私がいつもそばにいることを知ってもらえるからです。」
18When do you feel, “I’m a genius”? /「自分、天才かも」と思った瞬間は？
When I write down my thoughts and experiences. I feel very intrinsically inspired with many thoughts, feelings, and words flying through my mind onto the paper. I’ve always enjoyed it. Also, navigating technology is something I feel gifted in. I can use a website building app and make ideas come to life quickly. 自分の考えや経験を書き留める時、私は非常に内発的にインスピレーションを感じます。数多くの思考や感情や言葉が頭の中を駆け巡り、紙の上に飛び出していくのです。私はいつもそれを楽しんできました。また、テクノロジーを駆使することも得意分野です。ウェブサイト構築アプリを使えば、アイデアを素早く形にすることができます。
19When did you feel “I became more mature”?/「最近ちょっと大人になったな～」と思った瞬間は？
After my dearly beloved dog Mocha died, I felt I aged 20 years. The memory of her life mixed with the fact that she was gone absolutely put everything in perspective concerning the rest of my life. I learned more that every encounter with those around you can be special and used as special memories when they are away, no matter how impossible it seems. They become visions, little moments of happiness to help you grieve over the absence of things or people you once loved but can’t physically be with. 最愛の愛犬モカが亡くなった後、私は20歳も老けた気がしました。彼女の生きた記憶ともういないという事実が入り混じり、残りの人生についてすべてがはっきりと見えて気づいたのです。どんなに不可能に思えても、周囲の人々とのあらゆる出会いが特別な瞬間となり、彼らが去った後には特別な記憶として蘇ることを。それらは幻影となり、かつて愛したものの不在を悼むための小さな幸福の断片となるのです。
20What do you always carry in your bag?/カバンの中に必ず入れているものは？
A hair clip/hair tie. My hair is so unruly, curly, frizzy and poofy. The circumstance I’m in may warrant a quick change in hairstyle: high pony, low bun, clipped up comfortably, etc. It’s truly a whirlwind that I must be prepared for at all times! ヘアクリップ／ヘアゴムです。私の髪は本当に手に負えないんです、巻き毛で縮れてそしてふんわり膨らむ。状況によっては急なヘアスタイル変更が必要になることもあります。高い位置のポニーテール、低い位置のアップ、楽にクリップで留めるなど。まさに嵐のような髪で、常に準備しておかなければならないんです。

That I am kind. How do you just accept that? Do you stay quiet? Do you say thank you? Is that you being prideful and agreeing? I still haven’t figured it out. 親切だね、ですね。。。どう受け止めればいいんでしょうか。黙っているべき？ありがとうと言うべき？それは誇り高く同意することになりますか？まだわからないんです。
22What words or people supported you when you were down? /落ち込んだ時に支えになった言葉や人は？
Honestly, God really is the reason I’ve survived countless situations in my life. Not only survived, but learned to thrive. There are so many stories in the bible of adversity and a loss of hope. Through all of those stories, God helps them see the light at the end of the tunnel and be thankful for the road, not just the destination. Reading these stories and seeing them in my own life help me push just a little harder and have a different mindset. Talking with God each day helps me understand that I’m not alone. I’m loved, I’m strong, and I’m able to face anything this world brings with Him by my side! 神様こそが私が人生で数えきれないほどの困難を乗り越えられた理由です。ただ生き延びただけでなく、繁栄する術を学べています。聖書には逆境や希望の喪失を描いた物語が数多くあります。それらの物語を通して、神様は私たちにトンネルの先の光を見させ、目的地だけでなくその道のりにも感謝するよう導かれます。これらの物語を読み、自らの人生にも当てはめることで、もう少しだけ頑張ろうという気持ちと、異なる考え方を持ち続けられるのです。毎日神様と話すことで、私は一人ではないと理解できます。愛されていること、強さを持っていること、そして神様がそばにいてくださるなら、この世界がもたらすどんなことにも立ち向かえるのだと！

I love that there are so many nice, quiet neighborhood areas, yet at the same time, it has everything I need! 素敵な静かな住宅街がたくさんあるのに、必要なものは全て揃っているところが本当に気に入っています！
24What comes to mind when you hear “Kawasaki”?/川崎と聞いて思い浮かぶことは？
Honestly, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 comes soaring into my mind. A super cool, Tokyo drift kind of vision! 実は・・・Kawasaki Ninja 650 (オートバイ)が頭に浮かびます。超クールな、東京ドリフトみたいなイメージです！
25What is your best memory in Kawasaki?/川崎で思い出に残っていることは？
Holding hands with my husband walking through our favorite place: Grand Tree with a matcha in the other hand, on our way to pick up some yummy food from the grocery store, while also looking for some natural cotton kitchen cloths. Such a sweet memory! 夫と手をつなぎながらお気に入りの場所、Grand Tree(グランツリー)を、抹茶を持って、スーパーで美味しいお惣菜を買いに行く途中、天然コットンのキッチンクロスも探しながら歩きます。なんて素敵な思い出でしょう！
26Do you have a favorite spot on Kawasaki?/川崎のオススメスポットは？
Definitely Grand Tree. It’s so close to our house that it feels like our own fancy backyard! Full of bright lights, classy elegant stores, but not too fancy! It has everything we need and we go there all the time! 間違いなくGrand Tree(グランツリー)です。家からすごく近くて、まるで自分たちの豪華な裏庭みたい！明るい照明に満ちていて、上品でエレガントなお店がたくさんあるけど、気取らない感じ！必要なものは全部揃っていて、いつもそこに行っています！
27If you had a free day in Kawasaki, where would you go?/川崎でOFFを過ごすならどこに行く？
I would love to go to 3 Stars Pancake with some of my friends! Their pancakes are so fluffy and yummy and the atmosphere is laid back and calming. 友達数人と3StartsPancake(武蔵小杉のパンケーキ屋）に行きたいです！ここのパンケーキはふわふわでとっても美味しいし、雰囲気もリラックスできて落ち着きます。
28What place in Kawasaki would you like to explore more?/川崎でこれから開拓した場所・スポットは？
Wow there are so many things I’d like to do before I leave Kawasaki! I’d love to visit some traditional places one the weather is a little more normal. The Kawasaki Daishi would be great to see, the open-air folk museum in the Ryokuchi park, and I’d love to see a concert at the Muza Kawasaki Symphony hall! That and maybe visiting the Lazona plaza and trying all the local ramen places around where I live that are super highly rated. So many things to do! 川崎でやりたいことはたくさんあります！天気も落ち着いたら、ぜひ伝統的な場所を訪れてみたいです。川崎大師は絶対に見たいし、緑地公園の野外民俗博物館も素敵だし、Muza川崎シンフォニーホールでコンサートを観たいです！それに、ラゾーナ川崎にも行ってみたいし、家の近くにある超高評価の地元ラーメン店も全部試してみたいです。やりたいことが山ほどあります！
